Super Gratton Hi

Pay tribute to the original climbing shoes with a pair of Super Gratton Hi by Fronteer. In the 30s, Pierre Allain started experimenting by mixing basic rubber-canvas style shoes (Converse-like) with a stiff, durable rubber outsole. The result was the first mass produced climbing shoe by Vibram, called the PA. The founder and Creative Director of Fronteer, Jon Tang, pays tribute to the rock climbing community’s history with a set of hi-tops that pulls visual clues from the original PAs. These lifestyle sneakers feature 6oz. canvas lining, perforated micro-fiber suede sock cover, moulded sockliner and are finished with 100% pure sticky rubber foxing tape. The suede and canvas is water-resistant and each pair come with two sets of nylon laces. If you’re considering adding these lookers to your collection, opt for one full size larger for the best fit.

Choose from Gold Greenstone or Molten Red, and available directly from Fronteer.
